2021 Changes to Facebook Business

If you have accessed your Facebook Business Manager you may have noticed that you were directed to the Business Suite. The Facebook Business Suite is the new way to manage your pages. A new name isn’t the only change that happened to the Business Suite, and you may be scratching your head at how to use it. If this is you, you’ve come to the right place! Today we are taking a look at these new changes and how they affect your business. 

How to Use the New Facebook Business Suite

Facebook Business Suite is available for a desktop and a tablet or phone through the Business Suite mobile app. The app is meant to replace the Pages app but that doesn’t mean the Pages app is going anywhere. You can still use the app to manage your pages although you don’t have access to the Business Suite’s newest features. 

One of the first new features you will notice on the Suite is the new home view. Now you can view Facebook AND Instagram notifications and find overviews of your most recent ads and post insights. If you click on the three lines in the top left corner of the page, you will find every action available to your page including ad creation, new posts, and the events manager. 

Activity view is another new feature for the Business Suite. The activity view shows who has liked or commented on your posts as well as ad updates and other Pages and Instagram activity. 

You may have already noticed from accessing your inbox that Facebook has unified it with Instagram messages and comments. Now you can go to one place to see what your customers on both Facebook and Instagram are saying about your business. 

Posting abilities have also changed. The updated business suite allows you to publish or schedule a new post to Facebook and Instagram at the same time.

Facebook Business Suite also offers a new way to create ads and easily track metrics. You can create ads, boost posts and promote your page directly from your Suite. You can also access metrics for ads created in the Suite. See how your organic posts are performing with data on trends and your shared activity on the Suite’s newly updated Insights page. You’ll also be able to access more information and insights into your customer base.
